Envel is an applied design lab. We work with selected frontier AI companies, build our own products, and study what gives AI judgement and taste.

Making has become abundant. Judgement hasn’t. It’s easy to confuse more with better, and intelligence with understanding.

We think alignment doesn’t end at the model. It ends with a human, trying to achieve a goal. Whether that works, and how it feels, is a design problem. It’s the one we work on.

We publish what we find. Subscribers read it first.
